Digital Workshops
A range of different workshops will be on offer throughout the day, giving you the chance to explore possibilities of the web and digital photography, whatever your level of experience.
All day workshop
Workshop A (9.45am – 2.45pm) - Video Making: Spend the morning collecting video clips and then edit your own short movie by the afternoon.
Half day workshops
Workshop B (9.45 – 11.45) – Beginner’s guide to using Wirksworth.net.
Workshop C (9.45 – 11.45) – Beginner’s guide to preparing digital photographs for a web site. No experienced necessary. Camera not required, but if you own a digital camera, please bring it along.
Lunch time talk (12.15 – 12.30) – Making best use of your group’s web page on Wirksworth.net.
Workshop D (12.30 – 2.30) – Beginner’s guide to using Wirksworth.net
Workshop E (12.30 - 2.30) – Beginner’s guide to preparing digital photographs for a website.
Showcase (2.30 – 3.00) – A chance to see what everyone else has been up to!
How to book
Email admin@wirksworth.net, or Alexandra25@hotmail.co.uk to confirm which workshop/s you would like to attend. You will then receive an email of confirmation. Alternatively contact Eileen Kirk on (01629) 824158.
Time and Place
The Digital Fun and Learning Day will take place at Anthony Gell School Community Wing on Saturday 19th March, 9.30am – 3pm. We welcome participation from people of all ages, from novices through to experts. Young people under 16 should please be accompanied by an adult. Drinks will be provided, but please bring your own lunch.
