Wirksworth.net is run as a partnership between the contributors, the core webmasters/‘managers’ and Wirksworth Connected Ltd as lead partner.
Wirksworth Connect Ltd is a not for profit company which is able to act ‘lead body’ on behalf of the partnership.
Membership of the Partnership
The Wirksworth.net Partnership includes all those who contribute to the website as its members. To become a member participating organisations and individuals must agree to abide by the Acceptable Use Policy of Wirksworth.Net. Each partner would sign the policy and thereby agree to abide by the decisions of the partnership.
Decision making
Most decisions are likely to arrived at through consensus at face to face meetings of the partnership, or through on-line discussions.
Contended decisions can be resolved through a vote of the partners, each partner organisation holding one vote.
Legal Responsibilities
Legal responsibilities are held by Wirksworth Connect Ltd, the directors would therefore have a veto on decisions that would have a bearing on their financial or legal affairs.
