Congratulations to Tim Rogers, the manager of Willersley Castle, who walked on a bed of red-hot coals.
He confidently walked over the coals at a mean temperature of 1,236 degrees Fahrenheit. Paper combusts at 451 degrees and aluminum melts at 1,100 degrees! Tim did it all to raise over £100 for NCH
22 Riders took up the challenge of cycling to all 12 Methodist Churches in the Wirksworth and Matlock Circuits. It was a hard course, but there was a warm welcome at each chapel. Over £1,000 was raised for NCH by this event. Thanks to all who took part.
