Wirksworth Community & Voluntary Group Networking Event

Derbyshire Dales Council For Voluntary Service (DDCVS) are hosting a Community Group Networking Event at Wirksworth Town Hall on Wednesday 5th May from 9.30am – midday. The purpose of the Networking Event is to bring together Wirksworth and area voluntary groups, clubs, 3rd sector organisations and to provide an opportunity for them to meet Wirksworth people. There will be stalls with a wide selection of groups from the area and the good news is that the stalls are provided free of charge to Voluntary groups and organisations by DDCVS; entrance to the hall will also be free. Previous such events organised by DDCVS in Ashbourne, Matlock, Hathersage and Doveridge have allowed local voluntary groups and clubs to ‘showcase’ their work to the public and the forthcoming event in Wirksworth will hopefully will allow groups to attract new members and volunteers.
