Hi folks

I thought this request was worth passing on as lots of people who use this site also learn things in a very informal way using technololgy.

MESSAGE:

Currently, Futurelab (www.futurelab.org.uk (http://www.futurelab.org.uk/)) an educational research charity, are investigating the role digital technologies play in adult learning. We are interested in learning activities you choose to do, how, when and where it best meets your needs and aspirations. Learning can mean practising, studying or reading about something. You can do it regularly or it may be a series of one-off events. We are particularly interested in any learning people do away from formal, structured or organised events e.g. evening classes and the role (if any) technologies play in supporting these activities. We are NOT interested in learning that leads to qualifications.

If you have personal or second-hand examples you wish to share with us please email Dr Leila Walker Leila.walker@futurelab.org.uk . Send details with a description of the activity and the technology you use to support it together with the reason behind this learning event. Please send your examples by Sept 30th
