There are lots of WWII aircraft crash sites all over the peak, and several within easy reach of Wirksworth.
Our Blog here (http://peakwreckhunters.blogspot.com/) gives photos and map references for anyone wanting to visit them. As these are often war graves, we would ask that visitors take only photos and leave only footprints...
