Spring is here and so a new season begins at YOUR railway. We're kicking-off with a diesel gala and full details can be found here: http://www.e-v-r.com/railcargala10.htm. With any luck, this time next year we shall be in the final stages of preparation for the full line reopening to Duffield so come-along for the start of the final season where we operate as just a 'little' railway. Next year, we move up a league!
You might also be interested to learn that our steam locomotive has now been steamed and has moved, tentatively, under its own power. The official launch will be in May but keep your eyes and ears peeled for steamy sounds. We shall also be welcoming at least one other steam engine this year, while next year promises to have even more goodies.
You might have travelled on the line before, but why don't you come down and have a couple of hours indulging in a little nostalgia this coming weekend?
