Default Why 5? What pieces?

Sounds intriguing so I had to find out what it was about.

Seems to be about an oil worker who had been a child prodigy and the sound track includes Tammy Wynnette singing 'Stand by your man' -

Well so says Wikipedia:

Thanks for this information, Alastair. I wondered why there was no description of the film.

More information about Five Easy Pieces ....

This award-winning film stars JACK NICHOLSON and KAREN BLACK from 1970. It tells of a talented but reluctant concert pianist. He leaves his privileged, middle-class life behind in favour of an uncertain and impoverished, yet infinitely more satisfying, life as a manual oil field worker.

‘He rode the fast lane on the road to nowhere’ - a film the captures the gritty American trailer-park culture of the time.

Note: This is the last film of the season.
