Early Days  Recorders

• Concentrating on the first eight notes of the recorder, playing mainly in G and D major
• Playing mostly well-known folk-songs and traditional melodies, including carols at Christmas
• Singing and playing rounds
• Experimenting with percussion, such as chime bars, to accompany recorders
• Ages generally 7 to 10
