A group of 10 people from Die visited Wirksworth in May 2007 . Their trip coincided with the Well Dressing and carnival weekend.

The video message has been sent to friends and contacts in Die and Frankenau. The VOX E-D organisation in Die have added the Wirksworth video to their web site.
VOX ED is a non profit making association, created April 28, 2004, which promotes and supports international exchange initiatives between the Diois and other parts of Europe and the world!
Wirksworth Twinning Association
Wirksworth is formally twinned with the town of Die (pronounced dee) in the South East of France. Die is also twinned with Frankenau in Germany and in May 2006 Wirksworth made a formal twinning link with Frankenau to create a triangular twinning.
The Twinning Association exists to promote international understanding and frendship through twinning, in Wirksworth and between Wirksworth and its twin town(s), through visits, newsletters, other information exchange, social contacts and events, and by encouraging one-to-one links between individuals, families and local groups in the respective towns.
