The lino cut on our home page, a view of Wirksworth, has been used as the Twinning Association logo since the year 2000 by kind permission of the local artist Maurice Ingham.
The sheep wheeling its suitcase from Wirksworth to Die is photographed from a model on the old Mairie (Town Hall) in Die, based on sheep cartoons by the celebrated French cartoonist F'Murrr whose drawings have provided posters for the annual Transhumance Festival (Fête de la Transhumance) in Die for the past decade.
