Winster is a very attractive village about 7 miles north west of Wirksworth. It has a lively local community which supports a twinning link with Italy, and an annual Wakes week starting in late June every year.
The Village Hall is the Burton Institute which offers a number of facilities including a computer suite which can be made available for public use.
