Wirksworth's Community Newspaper

Community Fayre – or CF as it likes to be known – is the paper to read if you want to be in the know about Wirksworth and District.

Produced four times a year, this broadsheet-style, black-and-white, free-to-pick-up publication is a cross between a newspaper and a magazine.

NOW looking for copy for Summer edition. Send your contributions to communityfayre@hotmail.com by Wednesday 23 July.

Look for it in local shops, libraries, banks, pubs, post offices, churches...

Community Fayre relies on local people sharing news, views, interests and opinions of what’s going on about this town. If you’ve got something to say, why not say it through CF? All ideas considered. Email communityfayre@hotmail.com

Join us! The paper is put together by volunteers who think Wirksworth has a lot to say. To get involved please contact communityfayre@hotmail.com

CF's aims are to produce a free community newspaper; to support and promote local events, groups and initiatives; to provide an opportunity to discuss matters of local importance and to act as a notice board for the town and villages. Funding is achieved through sale of space to local advertisers.

The group has a management committee as well as an editorial team. If you would like more information about the committee, please contact barry_foster@zen.co.uk
