We did many things in 2004 including step out for NCH but these were before this website was launched in November 2004! :-)
The Flock Shop led the Nativity Service at Wirksworth Methodist Church, which went well.
On Saturday, 20th November we had a Pudsey Party! Many Came along dressed as Pudsey Bear, or as close as they could get. There was baking of Pudsey Biscuits which were sold, there were games, juggling, collage and colouring. Over £60 was raised for Children in Need. And we all had a good time!
14 of us went to watch the Wirksworth Pantomine. We had a great time, and especially enjoyed watching some of our members up on the stage. Special Congratulations to our member who won the Sam Taylor Memorial award for the most enthusiastic young actor!
Hi I’m George and I’m a member of Flock shop and the Glee club pantomime group. Being in the panto is good fun and everyone in it are nice and friendly. We have done a whole range of panto's from Snow White to Ali Baba. Since I have been in it I have seen lots of people leave and new people join. We have a Christmas Party every year ( but most of the time it is in January) and we have an after show party as well. We have a casting meeting in June or July and we start practices in September on a Tuesday night. In October we practice on a Tuesday and a Thursday night and we perform in December.
