At the 2005 AGM Mike Ratcliffe raised the possiblity of widening the scope of the Association to embrace wider international contacts and friendship. You can read the AGM minutes here.
We want to have a proper debate about this. Our link with France, and developing link with Germany, already stretch the small group of people who actively run the organisation. At the same time existing members have many links with families and communities in our twin towns, and want to make sure we keep up an active programme.
Can a small town like Wirksworth sustain wider contacts? Or will a wider range of links bring in more members? Have your say by emailing us.
